A fundraiser for Kentucky Railway Museum's restoration of historic steam locomotive L&N 152.

On Saturday May 16, Kentucky Railway Museum will operate a special Photographer’s Freight Train featuring Jeddo Coal Company #85 steam locomotive. Departing at 6:00 p.m., the train will travel through the countryside between New Haven and Gethsemane. Participants will ride aboard the train to pre-selected private locations.  At each stop an organized photo location will be set to allow participants to capture the action of the steam locomotive while allowing for individual creativity.  As time allows, multiple run-bys will be performed, providing opportunities for video and still photographers. The evening will conclude at approximately 9:00 p.m. with an opportunity for night photography which may be accessible to other visitors.  

 

This event will be limited to twenty people. Participants must be aware that this event will involve de-training and re-boarding the train car at various track-side locations. 
 
Participants must provide their own photography equipment. All participants must wear closed-toe shoes and be able to climb equipment with their own strength. All participants must be able to walk on rugged terrain while carrying their photography equipment.
