Quick Details

The Kentucky Railway Museum is in the Eastern Time Zone.

Cabooses are one of the most iconic pieces of railroading. This is your chance to experience the rails like the freight conductors of yesteryear did in a real caboose on the rear of an actual freight train. You'll ride along with the conductor as your train hauls freight cars down the main track on an hour and half journey into history. At the midpoint of your trip, the locomotive will pass right by the caboose as it runs around to the other end of the train to take you back to the depot. On the return trip the locomotive will be coupled directly to the caboose providing a close up view of the vintage diesel locomotive powering your train.

Climb up into the cupola for a unique view of the train very few ever get to see!
*Please note, when purchasing cupola seating, passengers must be 48" tall to ride in cupola. All passengers must be able to climb a ladder to the cupola. Caboose seating is not wheelchair accessible.
